Bob did a great job planning our family vacation to Hawaii. We very much appreciated his recommendations for accommodations on both islands we visited. My husband and I used Bomar Travel for our honeymoon to Jamaica and they were great! They booked us a beautiful all-inclusive resort and took care of pretty much everything including our transportation to and from the airport. There was very little we had to worry about. The Riu Palace in Negril was gorgeous and the staff went above and beyond. We can't wait to go back! We will definitely use Bomar Travel for our next adventure.Oct 3, 2016Verified
My husband and I went to The Big Island and Maui for a week. Bob booked our flights, hotels, rental cars, a waterfall / volcano tour, and a luau. He did this for free on my end, they get paid through what they book for you. This took a lot of pressure off me finically. I do not travel a lot. I was so scared to plan my honeymoon. I posted a request on here for a travel agent to help me. Bob answered the request within hours and was the ONLY one to respond. I was a little hesitant to try out a travel agent because I didn't know what to expect. Bob blew my expectations out of the water. The best things about Bomar Travel & Bob the agent are: 1) Response time: Every time I called Bob he ALWAYS picked up the phone. There isn't one time I got his voice mail. I realize this won't happen for everyone but I felt so much support from him for this. 2) Organization: Bob was very good at sending multiple emails and he was very good at communication. There were a few flukes like payment methods or trip itinerary details but Bob fixed everything immediately. I was never on edge with him helping me. 3) Positive: Bob is such a nice person. He made it a point to remind me that he was there to make a fun trip for me! He helped me organize ideas and made sure they all went through without a hitch. I even had to call him in Hawaii because I was nervous about a tour but he got to the bottom of it and I went on the tour and it was the best part of the trip! I wanted to wait until I got home from my trip to post this review. He also sent a follow up email asking about the quality of the trip which I thought was very professional. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?There really is no standard pricing for Cruise & Resort vacations. It is dependent on what we can find and what our clients want to do
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We typically ask a few questions about what they are looking for on their vacation. When do you want to go, do you have a budget, how many are going, what do you like to do when your on vacation. These questions are to give us an idea about what resort or cruise or european vacation that would be a good fit for them
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?we are constantly receiving education from our suppliers and from the professional organizations that we are a part of. Its required training for certificates that we hold.
