Thank you so much Michelle! I truly enjoyed meeting you, Miles, Stan and Girlie!
Katy is amazing - I've nicknamed her the cat whisperer. She has a natural ability to communicate with all of our cats - even the feral cats we have outside! She is trust worthy, kind, caring, and truly loves hanging out with the cats. I have also hired Katy in the past for gardening. She took the same care with my garden as she did with my pets. Her garden work was caring, meticulous & detailed. Katy is definitely my go to person for any job related to my pets & garden.May 15, 2017Verified
Excellent service: punctual, communicative, accommodating, and attentive to detail. No fuss, no non-sense, and great energy. (Katy, thank you for adapting to my schedule change and for taking such immaculate care of dear Foibles.)Dec 10, 2016Verified
My cat isn't friendly or affectionate to many people so I was astonished how well she did with Katy! I'm convinced Katy's the cat whisperer!!! This made me confident that my kitty was in good hands while I was out of town. I really appreciated all the photos that Katy text me, again affirming that my cat was being cared for as instructed. Her services gave me peace of mind and I will definitely use her again. Couldn't be happier! 🐱Oct 4, 2016Verified
Katy did a fine job of caring for my cats when I was away, but she was inconsistent about texting me with updates. This left me worrying about whether or not she'd visited them, and feeling like I was bothering her when I'd text to check in. Also, although I asked Katy not to water my plants (I have lots of finicky succulents), she did anyway, which resulted in the untimely death of my favorite plant.Sep 16, 2016VerifiedKaty B.'s reply
I texted Alexis every day with updates and photos of her cats, as I said I would. These were detailed messages about whether or not the shy cat, Gorky came out, how much food they ate and cute things they did. Perhaps Alexis wanted to receive texts at a particular time, but no time was ever specified. Additionally, while she was away, Alexis asked if I could come an additional day, which I agreed to immediately and at the same rate. I also collected the mail each day. Regarding the plants, it was an extremely hot weekend in New York City, I have been studying agriculture, specifically biodynamic farming, since 2011, and every plant in the apartment was bone dry. One succulent in particular had several missing leaves, which had fallen off and were lying in the pot next to it. This is not a part of my service, but I watered the plants one time because they were so dry and some looked like they were already dying. Of course, after she asked me not to water the succulents, I no longer watered them. Going forward, I'll make it my policy to ask clients at the time of hiring if they have specific instructions on plant watering.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge $20 per visit; $50 for overnight stays.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? After we make initial contact, I give the customer my phone number and email in order to work out the details. I also ask how they would like to pay: Paypal, cash, Venmo, whichever they prefer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have had cats most of my life, and I love animals in general. My most recent cat had several medical issues, so I learned how to give a cat an inhaler, check insulin levels, give injections and administer fluids subcutaneously.
