We love Fiona so much, we had her marry us twice! In our private legal ceremony, Fiona helped us remember that the act of signing paperwork was momentous in itself. Her joy in bringing people together is apparent, even in the most modest of situations. For our public ceremony a year later, Fionas suggestions for rituals in our non-religious wedding helped us shape the day we wanted to share with our family and friends. Her serene presence set just the right tone as she led our gathering in the first steps of blending our families. Her sense of humor is an asset, especially when things dont go exactly according to plan (our outdoor venue was treated to the full fire truck siren-and-honking-horn treatment a few minutes in). The interruption was addressed and put to rest in short order. Her kindness and support made a special day phenomenal.

From the first time my fiancé and I spoke to Fiona we were in aw of her calm demeanor and beautiful soul. Fiona truly is one of a kind and put together a ceremony beyond our wildest dreams. Fiona went above and beyond, taking the time to ask us each several thought provoking questions, that we had to answer from our heart and soul. Fiona took all the answers to our questions and incorporated them into the most personable, intimate, and heartfelt ceremony one could imagine. I was left in tears of joy after reading a draft of the words Fiona would say on the most special day of our life. Fiona also helped us put together a timeline for our ceremony and was willing to help in anyway she could. It takes someone very special to put together a ceremony like the one we had. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will provide a customized quote after talking with you. But here are some ranges to help you understand my services. Custom Ceremony: $500-1000. This is a handcrafted wedding with full writing and officiating services including rehearsal. The ceremony can includes your love story, appropriate rituals, carefully selected readings etc. The format and content of the ceremony is guided by you. I offer unlimited consultation and revision. Standard Ceremonies: $350. A standard ceremony I have written and will officiate on your wedding day. You may customize your vows. Elopements: $150. Simple, short, ceremony. Up to four guests welcome. Vow Revewals: $150 - $300: handcrafted ceremony with unlimited consultation and revision. Travel Fees may apply.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet in person, over the phone or via skype/facetime for a complimentary, no-obligation consultation to discuss what type ceremony you are looking for and how I can be of assistance. We decide on the type of service that would fit your needs and have a conversation (either in person or through a digital questionaire) that will inform the custom ceremony design. I write a ceremony script and send you a draft. Then we revise the ceremony script until it fits you like a glove.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified Life-Cycle Celebrant through the Celebrant Foundation and Institute. This opportunity to serve my community as a ceremony specials is the perfect blend of my professional work as an educator and freelance facilitator with the personal desire to make meaning in our lives and honor people for who they are, where they are and their hero's journey.
