Wedding receptions should be about you and your guests celebrating a special night to the perfect soundtrack. With my service, you'll get sophisticated and nostalgic during dinner with minimal DJ chatter. When it's time to cut loose, the music is an uptempo mix of old favorites and new hits presented in a way that fills the dance floor and makes your reception one to remember. DJ Lessons There are many options online for introduction into the world of DJ'ing, but without the equipment, you'll likely be left trying to learn on your laptop. When rhythm and timing is everything, keyboard and mouse clicks just won't cut it. The only way to learn is by using equipment that can easily run into the $1000's. Being able to access professional grade equipment and having personal instruction to help show you the ropes will get you started on the right path. In addition, you'll get consultation on how you can get started if you're on a budget. The best parts of my job are seeing a crowded dance floor and knowing that you're helping the client have that reception they dreamed of or the party they worked so hard to throw. When it comes to instruction, it's seeing nervous or intimidated students experience the moment when two songs are synched and they realize they created their first mix. I can tell right then they're hooked.

Bryan provided DJ services for the outdoor bonfire event that fits into the Homecoming week festivities at the high school where I teach. The event lasts for a couple of hours, in a parking lot, in September (so who knows what the weather will do!), all of which seems less-than-ideal for a DJ. Despite the unconventional event, Bryan was fantastic to work with. He arrived early enough to manage the parking lot set-up (while an inflatable obstacle course shared his power source!) and drew in the students immediately. His music selection was perfect for the age group and atmosphere, and his interaction with students was fun, appropriate, and engaging. Additionally, I was impressed with his ability to modify his usual set-up so that the music was heard above lots of other activity but not blaring uncomfortably at anyone. He even took the time to visit with students who were interested in his work, equipment, and musical selections. Based on this event, I would certainly recommend him as a DJ, but also as a patient and knowledgeable instructor in his field.

From the moment we first engaged Bryan's services, he was extremely professional and attentive. We had him serve as DJ for our wedding and many people commented on what a fun DJ he was as well as the diversity of music played. I felt that Bryan really listened to me and honored my wishes when I told him I did not want any father daughter dance, special announcements etc... We were married at a small venue, and Bryan made sure that the music levels were controlled so that people in one area could chat while the rest of us were tearing it up on the dance floor. I felt that Bryan was committed to making our wedding the best possible experience for us and our guests. He was also more than willing to take requests! I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for someone friendly, capable and experienced to DJ an upcoming event. I would definitely use him again and think you should too:)

DJ Bryan Rocks! He is one of the best DJ's in Kansas City! Every year at my birthday bash he makes the party come alive! Always impressed with Bryan and he is very talented! He is patient, very attentive to detail, organized and is never late! The equipment is high tech and the music selection always fits the mood, even at my wedding reception! Any genre of music he is on top of it! I couldn't say more good things about his services!

Bryan was our DJ for our wedding. He was AMAZING! He played music that brought guests of all ages on the dance floor. It was packed! I could go on and on about how fabulous he was but you should just hire him and find out for yourself. You won't regret it! 8 months later and people are still telling me how great our reception was (thanks to Bryan!).

Weddings/Events -- Whether it's for 20 people or 200 people, you'll get a fair rate that guarantees the difference between a ho-hum party and one people won't forget. Lessons -- Packages available. Starting rate is 55 for a 2 hour session. Price breaks available for purchasing a multiple lesson package. 2 2 hour sessions (4 hours total) - $99 3 2 hour sessions (6 hours total) - $130 4 2 hour sessions (8 hours total) - $155
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet in person or over the phone to consult with clients. We'll discuss you and your guests' tastes in music, music that bests suits the event, and how the event will unfold.
