Introduction: I proofread and edit essays, research papers, and resumes for university students. I work primarily with international and foreign students who speak English as a second language but lack strong English writing skills. I help these students express their thoughts on paper in a coherent and concise manner in an effort to improve the quality of their school work. Most international students are extremely smart, but often don't have access to sufficient language-support services at their school. In my opinion, this lack of support gives local/domestic students an unfair advantage in many classes. I enjoy helping international and foreign students level the playing field by "filling the gap" in their writing. I am an attorney by training and hold a juris doctorate (J.D.) from Brigham Young University. I also hold a B.A. in economics with a minor in Mandarin Chinese. I lived in Taiwan for 2 years following high school. It was there that I developed a passion for working with international students.
