OMG...is really all I can say! Derrick with Elizabethtown Florist is awesome. You won't find a better floral designer or event coordinator/planner anywhere! From the first consultation with him and his mother Ruth...I knew they were the ones for me. I told him my ideas and he basically took it from there. He would send me pics of things and it was like he knew just exactly what I wanted. I told him I considered myself...different and unique. So he suggested that we do the ceremony in the center of the building at Lu Mil Winery and then he told me about this "lounge theme" design he had for someone's wedding but had no got anyone to try it yet. He should me some pics and I was wowed! I told him I wanted to do that. It was absolutely beautiful on that day... From the canopy with material draped from it to the lounge area, the bouquets to the arrangement of the tables and the seating for the ceremony. After I walked in all I could do is smile and say OMG. I could have cried! He made my wedding day a day I will never forget! Derrick truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for me. He exceeded my expectations by far!!!!

I couldn't have asked for a better bouquet for my wedding portrait! I had no clue what to ask for except for the color, and Derrick came up with something so beautiful!

Staying up on the newest trends and the education behind the beauty is a daily field of study. It may be reading an article in the latest floral professional magazine, attending webinars hosted by Society of American Florist, attending yearly educational summits or simply browsing Pinterest and other social media just to see what folks are into these days. The collaboration of all resources allow our consultants and designers to stay in the know and ready to offer the best in any style.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Although the flower shop surely can rival Disney World as the happiest place on earth it can also be a bit stressing at times. Its not all daisies and sunshine as most think. The planning, caring of flowers, caring of coolers and many other down and dirty necessary jobs can be highly labor intensive. However, at the end of the day we do get to stop and smell the roses. ;)
