FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent many years as a computer programmer, writing code in multiple languages. A space, a comma, an incorrect letter or a wrong number can derail the execution of the entire program, and can potentially cause data damage, so the practice I've had at finding and correcting program errors now enables me to find and correct every misspelling, punctuation error, and wrong word choice (there vs. their vs. they're).
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've done proofreading for a few self-published authors.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I proofread "Dark Witness" by Rebecca Forster. I found many errors in her copy that had already been worked on by her editor. The final draft that was published to Amazon was not my final corrected draft, so it still contains a few errors.
