- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system is not complicated at all. You will be charged for the cost of materials plus labor. Willing and able to deliver and set up your flowers, if you'd like, there will be an additional fee dependent upon size and distance of location.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The internet allows for the world to be at our fingertips. I enjoy reading into and looking at photos from floral designs created from all of the world. Keeping up with the latest trends in flowers and plants is my livelihood, there is always something new to try!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Upon high school graduation (in 1992), without a car just yet, I set out on foot to find a job where I could walk to daily. The first place I had walked into was a flower shop, I was hired on the spot and had worked there for 6 years, learning all of the tricks to the trade, proper flower and plant care, excellent customer service and all of the basics. From there, I grew and grew in my knowledge and experience, floral design has been my career ever since.
