Shawn (and his assistant) were FANTASTIC!!! From the moment I reached out to inquire about his services, he was very responsive, thorough and professional. Knowing I was planning a wedding and had a million details to tend to, Shawn touched base occasionally with updates on the design for the photo strips and follow up on payments, which I appreciated very much seeing as how these details can easily fall through the cracks when you’re planning a wedding! He customized the photo strips with the same colors and fonts I used in my invites and programs, which tied everything together perfectly. My venue director said he arrived to the location early, was extremely professional, and was very intent on getting every detail perfect. Our guests LOVED the booth – it was one of the highlights of their evening! And his props were unmatched – I’ve been to events with photo booths in the past and none have come close to providing the props Shawn had on hand – from signs to funny mustaches and mouths, to hats and scarves… hilarious! And he gave us a jump drive of all the photos at the end of the night before he packed up to leave! My husband and I could not stop laughing at all the pictures we got! I HIGHLY recommend Foto Bomz for any event!

Hi I just wanted to give a shout out to Fotobomz. He did a baby shower of ours and was incredible. Professional the entire time. Our guests were having so much fun. I will continue using Shawn for this service for all of our stuff. Many of my friends booked him as well and were very pleased as well!

I booked with Shawn on Tuesday 9/15. He emailed me the contract that night. I printed it on Wednesday filled it out had it ready to mail Thursday afternoon. That morning I started to get harassing text messages asking me if I was sure I wanted to book with him. I texted him that I had confirmed on Tuesday. Received another text asking for conformation ASAP. I called him and told him I wasn't comfortable with the fact he keeps asking me for confirmation. He went on a rant about how I live out of state and he has been burned before and we argued. He canceled my booking. He said he "didn't recognize my area code & has never taken an out of state check". On Tuesday I informed him I didn't not live there my family does, he said it was fine. He should stick to his word and figure out a different way of accepting payment if it's an issue for him.

As mentioned during our initial phone call, since we were within 30 days of the event (and the client was out of state), the contract was to be completed and returned immediately, along with the entire payment. She said she would send out Wednesday. Until both were received, this reservation would not be considered “booked”. She received a copy of the contract via email on Tuesday, as she stated. I sent a follow up message to her on Thursday, to check the status of the contract, and to ensure that she was still interested in booking that date (since we were only 2 ½ weeks from the date of her event). I had other people inquiring about the same date and wanted to make sure payment was sent so I could tell the other potential clients that it was booked for sure. She became very upset and left a message on my voicemail stating that she “was not comfortable with the contract” and wanted to further discuss and also stated that it “was not a good customer service trick” I was pulling. I returned her call and apologized that she felt as though I was “pulling a customer service trick”. She became belligerent and stated that the caterer and DJ she reserved were satisfied with payment the day of the event and that I should do the same. I explained that I did not run my business in that manner and that since we were only 2 ½ weeks from her event (and she would be paying with an out-of-state check), it would take 10 business days for her check to clear, so even if she sent the check out on Friday September 18 check would have never been cleared by my bank, which is why I insisted on immediate completion/submission of the contract and the entire payment be sent out on Wednesday. I could not take the chance of the check not arriving on time and that the funds would clear. We do accept other forms of payment as shown on the contract and our site. Our policy states that a check must be cleared before the event and must be paid in full. She continued to speak in a belligerent manner so I informed her that I did not think that we would be a good fit for her event and hoped that she would be able to find another photo booth company who would be able to meet her needs. I remained calm and professional throughout the entire call.
