I've taken Angela's class in Native American Flute at Howard Community College twice now. I just love it! I've had music in my life forever, but I have always been stuck at composition; it's hard to believe how quickly she got me unstuck. And the instrument is everything I hoped for and then some; I am so glad it found me through her amazing class. It's really been a rich addition to my daily life. Yet it's surprisingly easy to learn and accessible; if you're on the fence, try it! Angela is really unique. Her approach is almost polar opposite of how I think, but that seemed to me to be more of a bonus than any kind of barrier. There was something here for me to learn beyond music. She has a presence that makes you feel open, ready for the flow of creativity, connected to everyone in the space. She is gratefully, beautifully in the moment, with so much to share and so much generosity of spirit. Learning with her is an experience, more like taking a deep breath than like taking a class. If you are open to the experience, you will connect with the creativity in your soul. I would advise anyone to find an opportunity to learn with her.

I took a class with Angela in Native American flute at Howard Community College. The class was fun, educational and brought new ways of learning and experiencing my flute playing. The creation process became even more fun and profound. I am also fortunate to experience Angela's music first-hand regularly. She is a gift to the world; her Angelic voice and musical talents continue to astound and free my Spirit and Soul. I am very grateful to know Angela -- and I highly recommend her.

I have been doing Free Your Voice with Angela for almost two years. She is so fun to work with and a great teacher! She is very knowledgeable and intuitive about guiding me in exactly the right way at exactly the right time. I would encourage anyone to give themselves this very rewarding experience with Angela :)

When I arrived in the beginning Native American flute class recently, I was very timid. Immediately after being allowed to choose our own personal new flute, I began to know I was on the right path. Angelia is fun, sincere and so beautiful in spirit in her presentation and delivery of very personal ways to learn and love this new magical instrument. I loved the classes, I actually practiced a lot and loved it even more. I can go on and on. I play daily and say "just show up" to anyone who has an interest in learning to play the Native American flute. I say thank you every day! Loki

My daughter has been taking private flute lessons with Angela over Skype for almost two years. Angela is very knowledgeable and has a supportive instructional style; she is always very positive and encouraging, as well as flexible and punctual. My daughter has progressed wonderfully under Angela's tutelage. The flexibility Skype affords us is ideal and we have had minimal issues with the technology. If you are looking for private music lessons, you can’t go wrong with Angela!
