FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing for my services varies with the type of project and skill sets involved. I keep my prices 10 to 15 percent below the national average and do adjust them to accommodate some economic challenges. Jobs under $1,000.00 are bid in most cases. Jobs over this amount are bid plus hourly if there are unknown costs such as demolition or subcontractor involvement.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer I first offer them the chance to ask me questions and then provide answers. I will next attempt to gather the basic info on the work they want done. If the project or repairs are within my skill set I will propose a plan of approach to reach a successful completion of the project while staying within the given budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working in the construction trades for more than 30 years and have gained 90 percent of my training on-the-job. I earned a Journeyman electrical license through training and education in the IBEW in 1992.
