Introduction: I have 30 years of experience in training dogs, from basic household manners to problem solving inappropriate behaviors. I like to work with you and your dog as a team but am willing to work one-on-one with just your dog. I use a positive reward-based method of training. Although I am no longer showing my own dogs, for the past 20 years I have raised, trained and shown dogs in a variety of venues, as well as been an active foster home for Collie Rescue. This has given me a wide range of skills in working with dogs. Household manners include working with you on house training issues, appropriate greeting of guests, waiting at doorways, begging, inappropriate barking, separation anxiety, etc. Basic obedience skills include walking on a loose leash, sit, down, stand, stay and come when called. If you want to work on more advanced skills, I would love to assist you with that as well. Also available are dog walking and pet sitting services.
