FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on the type of services my clients require, I may choose to bill on an hourly basis (charging in increments of 6 minutes) or for a single flat fee. In addition, I require payment of a retainer at the time that an attorney-client relationship begins. This retainer acts as a security deposit, meaning you will be refunded any unused portion of this deposit at the conclusion of my representation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As attorneys, we are required to participate in regular continuing education courses. These courses discuss hot topics and changes in the law, and ensure that attorneys are providing ethical and thorough representation. I frequently attend these events to make sure I am up-to-date on newest developments in the law.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My desire to become an attorney grew out of my involvement in local politics from a young age. I quickly realized just how convoluted our legal system is, and rather than shy away from from it, I chose to tackle it head on by becoming a legal advocate.
