I have been struggling to find a job for a very long time. Deb was very generous with her time in reviewing and rewriting my resume and LinkedIn page. They look so much more polished and professional. Deb has a wealth of knowledge and I learned a lot from her. I just know that things are going to turn around. I dont need a career, or life coach I know my direction. When a 2.5 year, full-time contract came to an end a coworker suggested that I might find it helpful to see a friend of hers whom had a coaching and consultancy business (yielding an eye roll from me). As a bit of a favor, I contacted Deb. I have always been laser-focused with my career. I am often the go-to caregiver, and document-person in my family. I pride myself in being able to keep it all together while exceeding goals and expectations. I was blindsided when my first meeting with Deb was a complete catharsis. She helped me slow down, refine my pitch, and build on my strengths as they applied to some of the new skill sets I had acquired, and would be offering as I set out to build my business again. During the couple of months we worked together, Deb was very detailed with our agreed upon goals from meeting-to-meeting. She often followed up between meetings to help me stay on track, and provided subtle but effective encouragement (remember I didnt need a coach). An unexpected bonus was that Deb also happens to be very connected and opened a few key doors for me by making introductions. If you are skeptical about engaging with a coach, Deb will amaze you. It's my first experience on thumbtack, my first time working with a life coach and I hit a goldmine! Ive had several appointments with Deb and I must say I am pleased to have made this connection. As a quick background to understand how and why Im rating my review. I came to look for a life coach to open my horizons, and to push forward towards some of my major goals in life, one of which being my occupation. I must say at this point I feel comfortable to say that it was the perfect match for me to have Deb as my life coach. Over the course of two months I been involved in business conventions, built new contacts, reached out to old friends, have worked on my image and of course my future aspirations. I look forward to the possibilities that await me and its thanks to my hard work, focus and of course what Deb has brought to the table. Deb is one that brings positive energy, excitement, structure, fun and professionalism. She also has special traits, one of which is that she creates appointment recaps and puts it into writing for you to read, visualize and come back to any time you want! Overall, its your choice what you are looking for, but my recommendation is to at least give her a try. I myself am looking forward to our future meets and possibilities. Signing out. -P

WORTH EVERY PENNY. I came to Deb at a time when I knew that I wasn't in the right job but was also not sure what I was looking for. She began by talking me through what I liked about my current position and what I didn't like. She helped to guide me towards what kind of work I wanted to pursue. Then we met in person three times to focus on my resume, LinkedIn profile, and interviewing techniques. She was very flexible about meeting at times that worked for me - after business hours. She was also available outside of these meetings to answer any questions I had or to review cover letters. She really went above and beyond when I needed additional help getting my cover letter and resume ready to send out. When I got an offer, she reviewed it and let me know her thoughts. I really don't think I would have gotten another job without her help and follow up. She gave me the confidence and skills I needed to pursue new opportunities. I start my new job in a couple of weeks at one of the best companies to work for in Boston!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My coaching is on an hourly rate and resume writing is quoted as a flat fee that includes our discussions, first and final draft. I offer a comprehensive job search methodology that includes Professional Branding (resume, LinkedIn, cover letters and pitch) to interview preparation, job search strategies to negotiating an offer. These services can be hired separately or together based on your need. The initial consult is complimentary.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every customer is different. Even with that said, we typically start at the top line strategy of career direction and then once that is established, create a strategic job search plan.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 25 years as a professional and leader in my industry where I created the model and evangelized the new marketing platform of doing ethical email marketing at it's inception over 20 years ago in addition to succeeding and working in a highly functioning corporate environment. I also took a year long Coaching training course at Boston University earning a certificate of completion of their program.
