FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a flat $90 per hour. I will travel at no charge, but within about 25 miles. I offer detailed balloon twisting, which I prefer. $90/hr should get you more than a 1-balloon animal with a whole bunch of sharpie marks on it so you can tell what it looks like. Depennding on my other bookings, I will try to get to your event 20-30 minutes before the 'start' time and will twist until the end time. Depending on my schedule, I like to bring a bunch of pre-made balloons for those that have waited in line, but that I may not get to when it's time for me to leave. This is usually at a large event, like a festival, when my line never ends til closing time. I make my announcement that I'm closing in 30 minutes and when that time is up...I bring out the pre-made balloons.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication is key. I usually prefer to start with an email to pass basic info. -Where the event is, The Time and Day of Event, and give the new customer my facebook page. A follow up phone call to discuss ideas, then emails as needed. Once all of that has been discussed, we'll go over payment options. There are no deposits, no cancellation fees, and payment is due at the conclusion of the event in cash, check or charge.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I watch a lot of videos I purchased from Balloon Artists I have been following on Facebook and YouTube. And of course just good ol' practice!
