FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$25 per 30 minutes $35 per 45 minutes $45 per hour
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We'll take our first lesson easy with a discussion of your musical goals. I'll want to know things about you such as: Why are you interested in music lessons? What music do you like to listen to and what music do you want to play? Do you have any past experience? Or is this a fresh start? Do you know of any strengths and weaknesses? After this, we will begin a regiment that is as personalized as possible. My goal is for you to reach your goals while having fun and working hard. My teachers have always told me that you will take from your lessons what you put into your lessons. I am just as happy teaching the laid back hobby musician, as I am coaching the next Mozart who practices nonstop.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified K-12 music teacher in the state of Ohio, I have been playing several instruments since I was very young, and am excited to share my passion for music with you! I have recently graduated from the Michigan State University College of Music, currently teach music at Wildwood Environmental Academy, and have studied Orff Schulewerk at DePaul University. I have been very fortunate to tour the United States as a drummer with multiple ensembles including The Pioneer Drum and Bugle Corps, the Michigan State University Percussion Studio, and the Plymouth Canton Educational Park Drumline.
