I usually charge $.0127/word. However, for a STAT job I would charge $0.127/word, plus $5.00/page. This really depends on the type of work needed and would need to be discussed with the client.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Speaking with the client to get a feel for the type and volume of work, turnaround time, pricing and payment, and any other information the client could share or questions the client would ask to make the process move smoothly.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the medical field for over 35 years working for Mt. Sinai Hospital, The Cleveland Clinic Founds, Meridian Hospital, and University Hospitals of Cleveland. I have also worked for a medical transcription company as the night supervisor. I have worked in many medical disciplines and am currently working for Helen Hayes Hospital in New York.
