- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do a lot of reading, and attend webinars which can be a good way to learn about new developments and new trends in this changing field. Networking with others is also helpful.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I am often instrumental in helping to refine processes. When clean claims go out, they are more quickly paid and resolved. This process begins with customer service and the front desk procedures, and ends when the claim is paid.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When you are outsourcing your medical billing, be sure to ask a lot of questions regarding who and how denials will be worked.
