FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge approximately $100 per hour for standard DJ services. For wedding ceremony music I typically charge an additional $50 minimum and it goes up from there based upon what is required. I very often give military veteran discounts. I am also willing to negotiate rates and payment methods.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have developer a Wedding Planner Checklist that I send to me customers ahead of time or that they are able to access via the website. This document walks them through detailed questions to help the DJ as well as the customer determine steps required for their wedding. After this, I typically drive to the customers location and go over the Wedding Planner in detail ensuring a full understanding of what the customer desires. I also call and or meet with them again prior to the big day to ensure all is well with our plan.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a musician for over 35 years. I have played in many bands for many venues for many years. During this time I have developed a very strong awareness of what people desire for a night of dancing and fun. I also possess a very large music library that is ever expanding and I am personally aware and enjoy many genre's and styles. This knowledge and experience is very valuable in meeting my customers DJ needs.
