FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't have a 'standard' pricing system since not every photo session is exactly the same. I try to utilize as many resources as possible to minimize expenses or costs to my clients; it's about creating beautiful and breathtaking images. It honestly shouldn't be about who does what at what price - it is about the end result. Too many times people think it's about the most economical photographer or bid, and that's what you'll end up with.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to ask them what their expectation is from the photography session - what is their main goal and objective? From there, I like to ask them for sample images or ideas that we can use to base our photo session on. Each session is tailored for each client; therefore I can make sure to deliver the right images and experience to each client. Once we've brainstormed and figured out how we want to proceed with their individual session, we plan the session itself and then just enjoy the creative process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I host and feature photography workshops and am always reading articles, taking webinars and classes and work with other industry professionals to learn new techniques, additional lighting ideas and how to better feature subjects in their images.
