FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
not complicated, i know most competitor pricing and am very familiar with how to price jobs. I use good material and still come in at a great price. Prices on plumbers are usually between 75 and 95 hour. Seems high but most important is I don't waste customers time by taking longer than needed or charging for running for parts. Nor do I tell customers they need something they dont. I give options when there are times that customers can save money. I know what products are best in our area. Our water is not the same as it is throughout other areas. Some products hold up better than others.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet with greeting. Ask questions. Discuss options. Make recommendations. Solve issue. Close the sale. Thank them for their time. I have a very high return service rate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
10 years on road with other plumbers. Learned the trade by having great teachers. Was retail manager for 20 years and learned that customer relations and trust are important. Educating customers on basic things that they can do to save money.
