What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have just decided to open my business for Notary acknowledgements. Lawfully, I can charge $5 per acknowledgement. It is my intent to set up an acknowledgement, travel and copy charge depending on the number of acknowledgements, location and extent of documents that would need to be copied, trying to be marketable and competitive.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Upon being contacted by the proper entity, I would contact the client/customer to inquire about their needs and location, quote a price and make arrangements to meet.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Associates Degree and have completed other coursework relating to ethics. Have also acquired a Career Certificate in Medical Coding. Having worked in law offices for over 30 years has exposed me to many documents and signings and the need for proper notarization.
