Often, portrait sessions are a cause of stress and tension. I strive to create an atmosphere that's both relaxed and fun. Some times, the use of a blanket, a game of peek-a-boo or a small "prop" will help distract children (and some adults!) enough to have them relax and interact and that's where you get the "real" moments. I enjoy meeting new people and being able to capture a moment in time, an age, or a "time stamp" or life for families. It's important to preserve memories of certain times and milestones in life. It's even more important to me to document our every day lives, because those moments are where the most precious memories lie.
