About this pro
How does your business stand out?
Often, portrait sessions are a cause of stress and tension. I strive to create an atmosphere that's both relaxed and fun. Some times, the use of a blanket, a game of peek-a-boo or a small "prop" will help distract children (and some adults!) enough to have them relax and interact and that's where you get the "real" moments.
What do you enjoy about the work you do?
I enjoy meeting new people and being able to capture a moment in time, an age, or a "time stamp" or life for families. It's important to preserve memories of certain times and milestones in life. It's even more important to me to document our every day lives, because those moments are where the most precious memories lie.

We had a wonderful experience with RFK Photography. I contacted RFK Photography regarding a photo shoot of grandparents and grandchildren. Rebecca was very responsive, accommodating and professional. We are thrilled with the experience and our photos. We highly recommend her services.

Rebecca made my 4 kids relaxed and comfortable. She took lots of pictures and poses! She also sent me a preview of some pictures the same day and they look great! Can't wait to see the rest. Thanks Rebecca.

We had such a great time getting our pictures taken by RFK Photography. She was very creative and worked amazingly with my children. Each picture perfectly captured the essence of my children. I can't wait for to get our Christmas pictures done!

Thank you! It was a pleasure getting to meet and photograph your family. :)
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer session fees and print products or a special price system for limited edition sessions. It is clearly listed and some times comes with a promotional product.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in film & video from Penn State.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I found that after I had children, I wanted to freeze time and capture all of my memories.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I have been doing fantasy composite images featuring mythical beasts, animals and magical effects. I really enjoy bringing children's dreams to life through photos.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you find someone whose style you like. Every photographer shoots and edits in a different way. I read somewhere once that "the photographer you use depends very much on how important the photographs are to you."
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
What do you want out of the session? Something to hang on the wall? Something to remember 20 years from now? A portrait or a lifestyle storytelling session with video? It depends on the outcome you want.
