- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We analyze their needs first and I give them a quote on how much the project will cost. I also lay out a structured process for them to go by when commissioning me to do a logo design. I feel that it is important to have a structure to follow with clear boundaries so that each party understands what the terms are and the scope of work is before the design work is initiated. For commissioned art decals and paddleboard art, my clients give me their preferences for subject matter and color and I proceed from there. For both types of design work, I create a contract that we can both agree on before moving forward.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors of Art degree in Fine Art with a concentration in painting and drawing from the University of New Mexico and I taught myself how to use Adobe Illustrator over the past year. I was already proficient with Adobe Photoshop.
