- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge between 125-179 for a custom resume, cover letter and individual consultation. I serve clients from recent graduates to top-level executives. All clients are guaranteed 100 percent satisfaction.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. We start with a phone or personal consultation. We can do this via phone, email or in-person. 2. I assess your personal goals and resume needs. I give some advice on how to focus documents based on the most pressing need. 3. Client sends me current resume for assessment. Or, if the client does not have a resume, I send out a questionnaire that will provide me with the information I need to write a professional document. 4. I write out some preliminary documents for review. 5. If the client likes the direction I am going, I bill for services through PayPal. 6. We continue to revise for up to 2 weeks after the final documents are delivered. 7. Client writes a review on Thumbtack!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters in English, (M. A.), a Masters in Adult and Higher Education and an M. F. A. in Creative Writing Poetry. I teach writing classes for several colleges and universities. I was an employment counselor/job trainer for The Illinois Employment and Training Centers where I worked with clients who had multiple barriers to employment.
