- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I most definitely do not! I will quote you an estimate I feel is fair and stick to it; while it may not be the cheapest you can find, I do great work, I will stay involved outside of tax season, and I will not nickle and dime you for phone calls or emails, ever.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
CPAs are required to take 40 hours of continuing professional education (CPE) to keep up their license each year. I actively seek out CPE that helps me grow as a professional, keeps me up to date on the ever-changing tax landscape, and helps me expand my areas of expertise.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find the best personality fit and try to determine if this person is willing to invest in a long-term relationship with you.
