- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally charge between $75-$150/hr depending on the complexity and duration of the project. If you want to buy or sell a business then I charge a flat success fee for the entire engagement from start to finish with no hourly commitmemt, which is paid at the successful sale of the business. I offer one free hour of initial consultation to explore your consulting needs and to help define the broad scope of your project, your exit strategy (if selling), and your dream business investment (if buying).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Traditional consulting services are based on an hourly rate. Business valuations are charged a flat fee and credited back to the client at the closing. There is no charge for Buyer or Seller representation- my costs are collected in the form of a success fee at the time of closing. In every case, we start with a free initial consultation. If you agree to move forward, I have detailed checklists to guide us through the business steps together. We will set goals, do our due diligence, meet timelines, and review progress. All goals are results-oriented.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's in Nuclear Engineering, a Masters in Engineering Management, I am Project Management Professional (PMP) certified, I have a professional realtor license, and I have years of business management experience. I am also trained and experienced in the buying and selling of businesses. I am a member of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), a member of the local CCIM chapter, and the local area chambers of commerce.
