Tom Tolnay Disc Jockey Entertainment
My partner Marie and I hired Tom and Stacy to DJ our wedding on September 3, 2017. We highly recommend this team to you. From the moment we talked to Tom about song selections and timelines we knew he was easy to work with, professional and extremely talented. Not only was he able accommodate setting up in multiple places, he was very flexible to last minute changes due to schedule slips (on our part!) and he kept the music flowing. Our guests are still talking about how they were blown away from the live music and the talents of these two. Tom and Stacy made our wedding day as fun as it was special and we will be forever grateful. If you are looking for a DJ look no further this is the one.Oct 11, 2017Verified

Q & A
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Basically my pricing is very simple: (4 Hours - $595, 5 Hours - $695, 6 Hours - $795) These prices include everything: - Continuous Music - Complete Master of Ceremonies - Dance Floor Lighting Effects Package - Consultation Beforehand to Discuss Event Details - Complimentary Live Music Ceremony/Cocktail Hour (if desired) - Up to (3) Separate Set-ups (if needed) for Ceremony/Cocktail Hour - State-of-the-Art, Bose Sound Systems - Digital Music Library of Over 15 Million Songs - Wide Range Cordless Microphones for speeches, toasts etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? In addition to electronic communication, I think it's nice if we can talk on the phone a few times prior to your wedding. I definitely feel more connected with my couples that way. When someone first expresses interest in hiring me for their wedding, I will invite them to call me and I will answer any questions they might have. By chatting on the phone, we can get a better sense of each other's personality. Plus, I can explain all of the relevant information such as booking, song requests, timeline/itinerary etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have 2 degrees in music: Bachelors in Music-Education from the Crane School of Music, State University of New York. Masters in Music-Performance from Temple University. In addition to my 14+ years as a professional Disc Jockey, I also have 20+ years of experience performing live music as a Classical Flutist, Jazz Saxophonist and Pop Vocalist. I think this is one of the things that sets me apart from other wedding disc jockeys... I am able to offer live music for your ceremony, cocktail hour and during dinner. I believe the live music adds a sophisticated element of class to any affair.
