- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge 'cost' for supplies if framing or finishing custom work. For weddings I charge per piece and custom work has an hourly rate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I study various lettering styles and read books on technique and projects that can be incorporated into my work.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started doing calligraphy professionally under the name, 'Tinkraphy,' a spin on my last name and calligraphy, to earn money while staying at home raising my children. I chose to put my love of letters and calligraphy to help bring a personal touch of love for clients' gifts and weddings.
