FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes. I have a flat hourly rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically a customer will want to know my fees. I will establish if I need to travel to their location. Then, I get to the good stuff of how I can help them. Sometimes I will suggest a client pulling looks they from magazines especially if it's a hair style. What's important to remember with clothing, is that everyone can't wear every designer. Our body's just aren't built that way. So when we go shopping its important to find what looks best on us instead of label to shop. I just launched this business, so I haven't finished any projects yet. Most of them take 10-12 e-mails to launch.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved fashion. My background is in business, although I have retail experience. When I was in college, everyone was always asking me for styling advice; so it started as a hobby. I decided to try my hand at it as a pro.
