FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As stated earlier, I am in the process of eventually completing wedding planning coursework and certification. I am also planning on becoming a member of the "Association of Bridal Consultants" or "ABC" later this year which is the oldest association for wedding planners in our country. ABC is always keeping its members abreast of the latest trends in weddings, how to save your couples more money and tips on how to run a wedding planning business.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had been thinking about wedding planning for some time before I actually took the leap! But I know it is a good industry for my personality!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Planners do everything from help the Bride choose colors and a theme for the celebration, to hunting down just the right ring boy pillow! Whatever a Wedding Planner does should be listed on the contract that both you and the Planner sign. If there are any additional items, those extras tasks should be listed in an addendum and again, signed by you and the Planner. That way, no one is surprised when one receives a bill for any extra tasks that the Planner did for the Bride & Groom.
