FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system for your service, will be based on what you are requesting. How long to complete the task, how many hours I worked on the project, how complicated or simple the job duties/responsibilities are., etc... Basically from my last position, working in the capacity as an Administrative Assistant, supporting upper management, being the professional that I am, with the knowledge and prior experience that I gained which can't be taken from me, my pricing services starts @ 20.00 per hr. (depending).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
High School Diploma (general studies); Attended a University, major was Business Administration (an Associates degree); While @ Circuit City, it was mandatory that all Admins attend and get certified via Dunn/Bradstreet w/hours. Also, all Admins had to attend a secretarial class @ Kennesaw State University.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
In High School, typing classes were offered. I always had an interest in typing, so I took the class. I passed with As. Then when I attended a University, my major was Business Administration, which was a class associated w/my major and I had to take it. By that time, I was already a pro. Came out with As. Also, being a business major I had to take Records Management and I loved it! Then after College, I had a temporary position offered as a typist for a check printing company. I got the position and loved it. That made me more experienced and my typing speed excelled. Currently, I can type 60 - 65 wpm. After relocating here to Georgia years ago, I signed up with a Temp Agency. Their clients called them for a Clerical/typist with wpm @ 60. I worked that position until my 90 days was up. The company offered me the position, I accepted. Then from that position, I found a job offer in the paper for an Administrative Assistant w/Circuit City, Regional Office. I went, applied, interviewed for the position and received a call that I was selected among six other Admins to support a call center. From Data Entry, to Typist, Secretarial, Divisional Secretary, Regional Administrative Assistant.
