Introduction: I have been interested in body art for as long as I can remember. I drew whenever and wherever.
I've always wanted to learn the art of tattooing but found that path was not quite right for me. After years of searching for the right form of expression, I found henna as body adornment to be an excellent alternative. It's temporary nature lends to continues expression of creativity, without the fear of running out of space on your "canvas".
The henna I use is all natural, grown in places like India, Egypt and other places in the middle east.
Mixed into a paste using my own recipe consisting of lemon juice and essential oil, the resulting stain can last as long as two weeks.
Alternatively I also use Jagua, a plant found on South America that leave a deep blue/black stain that mimics traditional tattoos and just like henna, it fades in time.
