Ilona is an excellent horse trainer and riding instructor. My horses have responded very favorably to her training; they are performing at a higher level than I ever would have imagined. I also understand them better due to Ilona's guidance. If Ilona errors, it would be in the favor of the horse's benefit - the horse's well being is her priority. Ilona is the first horse trainer that I have met that puts ethics above an income. I highly recommend Ilona; her love for horses and her knowledge of them is unsurpassed.

I could not be more pleased with the experiences I've had with Ilona Maegdefrau. I first met Ilona in 2000. We brought 2 horses to Florida in 2000. Ilona provided care for our horses and riding lessons for myself and our daughter. She continues to demonstrate the same qualities I admired then. She is the best! Knowledgeable and experienced in every aspect of horsemanship, with the care of the horse and the rider always her top priorities. I would recommend her without reservation.

28 years ago Ilona told me to ride a horse and I never forget the things aboat horses she teached me. It was a lesson for my life and so it was easy for me to buy my first own horse with her help. Every question I had, she had the answer. Even until today she is the perfect horse trainer I ever met. I can call her, she helps me every time.

Riding lesson: my horse, my place $ 45. Your place your horse $ 50 (& gas if it is more than 35 miles to drive.) lunge lesson $. 35 .coaching on shows: half day $ 50 , full day $ 75.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do a lot of research about a healthy, holistic way to take care of animals.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I loved animals and especially horses as long as I can think and this was the best way to be close to them all day( and sometimes night)
