Introduction: I have 30 years in the house framing and remodeling business. I provide framing crews that have workman's compensation and general liability insurance. I also carry a workman's compensation and general liability insurance. I work with the builder or homeowner to make sure that the job is done to what they need and up to all the building codes for that area. I work with the framers daily to make sure that what they do is up to all the building codes for that area. When the framers finish, I inspect their work. What I check are the following: * All studs to make sure that there are no bows, if so, mark them to be fixed. * All window and door openings to make sure they are per plan or change up. * Roof bracing to make sure they are not over span and are on bearing walls. * Check to make sure floor joist and ceiling joist are not over span (check before installed). * Make sure cornice has no bows. * Make sure windows and doors installed are correct. No job is to small.
