Introduction: So far I am the only DJ that I am aware of in this area that runs a QSC system (the most expensive and best sounding system on the market) I also have two of everything that can fail. I also know how to use the gear that I have, half of the quality comes from knowing how to mix sound. I get at least 1 to 2 calls a year to come bail out a DJ at their function because of equipment failure. I get called about the same amount of times, due to the DJ simply not showing up. I understand that cost is a factor in everything, but a good DJ has thousands of dollars invested and the ones that are doing this cheap are either just starting out or only have a primary system, usually purchased used at a pawn shop etc. I am not the cheapest DJ, but I am also not the most expensive. I enjoy your party as much as you do and love providing good music thru fantastic gear. I have built up a lot of repeat customers over the years and my business facebook page "Party Time DJ & Karaoke" has many photos of the fun parties I have hosted.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I always charge more for weddings, because there is a lot of time involved both prior to and the day of your wedding. Your really rolling the dice with a cheap DJ for your wedding.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always looking at the latest gear that becomes available. I have recently purchased the entire array of QSC K Series speakers. They have fidelity beyond belief. I also use vocal processors for voice enhancement, I don't know of any other DJ that will spend the extra money for that.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been playing in bands since the 80s and this is where I get most of my experience working with high-end equipment and it is also where I learned how to entertain and be comfortable in front of large crowds. Every party is different in its own way, I am always feeling the pulse of the party, so everyone has a good time. I started DJing and hosting karaoke in 2006. I always love a good party and enjoy hosting them.
