- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Serve Safe Certified (Food Manager Level) Catering /Grilling/ food prep for large groups for last 15 years.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Started in the 1990's when my children were in high school band and sports, School Booster clubs needed someone to head up Concessions at events and fundraisers. I took it and started investing in equipment with my own money and accumulated many pieces of equipment form grills, deep fryers, slicers, smokers that could produce food for large numbers at a time. When my children finished high school, I had all this equipment to do with, so I started "BigJerry's Grill'n. Added a mobile food trailer and a commissary building to become legal with health department regulations.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with customers for all kinds of events from Universities, Companies, Schools, Bride/Grooms &families, Church Groups, Individuals needing to raise funds for someone in need or conduct mission work.
