- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is a lot of time not seen both in planning or preparation and post processing. There is also a lot of cost in equipment, hosting, travel. Pricing is fair and reflects investment required. There is a world of difference in a photographer with consumer camera with kit lens and specialized professional bodies and lenses, lighting, audio, studio strobes, filters, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Start with understanding their goals or what is most important to them which they may not have thought through themselves. Then with that as a foundation do the work of planning. Stay up n touch and communicate so there are no surprises and to lower stress for everyone as much as possible. Try to make it a fun experience.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took radio and television in college but really it is 4 decades of learning and experiencing.
