They arrived on time and the movers were nice. I was quoted for packing, wrapping, stairs and the move. First thing I went and got the Uhaul, as requested, came back and one of the drivers hit my house with the Uhaul. I let it go. Next, the supplies they brought were medium sized WalMart boxes, and foam wrap. There were no blankets to cover furniture, and no mattress covers. Third, I understand I live on the 3rd floor, I made that known before booking, and I understand the heat. But when I’m paying $85/hr the breaks should be kept at a minimum. They started my move at 1pm, finished at 11pm. At this point I don’t want them to reassemble. My furniture sat outside in the grass for hours, there’s literally ants crawling on my couches. That’s ridiculous. Fourth, damaged my dresser, broke the leg off and broke the drawer. I was comped $125 for that. Damaged my wood table I’m not sure how but it’s chipped and scratched. I received a ledger breaking down everything and excluding the $200 deposit and the $125 for the broken leg my total was $960. I asked why I am being charged for supplies and wrapping when nothing was wrapped and my supplies were used (excluding the 4 Walmart boxes used on random things) she then took off the $75 and my new total was $885. I paid it because services weee rendered and the workers worked hard. I later received a text message stating “just for clarification your tv, glasses and computer were wrapped” which is not true. My 75in tv was not wrapped, they taped my yoga mat to the front, my computer was not wrapped, it was placed on the floor in the front seat of my car and I put a blanket over it. Of my smaller TVs only one was wrapped. I paid $885 for the workers and the move and almost $200 for the Uhaul. Next time I will pay my money and go with a company that actually wraps and clearly cares about other peoples property.
