Sweeney Guitar Lessons

Introduction: I teach students to play guitar by ear, as well as normal chord progression and extensive scale lessons for the more-advanced students. I can also teach the art of songwriting in such a way that the student can find out what works best for them. Whatever it is about a guitar you want to learn, whether it's playing, maintaining, or repairing, I can do it. I'll teach the following: * Chords: Normal chord progression and bar chords * By ear: Learn the art of recognizing sounds * Scales: Scale runs both up and down * Genre: Bluegrass/Folk music, classic rock, country fried rock, singer songwriter, and more * Contacts: Many who learn to play start their own bands. I have 20 years in the music business and more connections than most for potential bands. NOTE: I don't teach how to read sheet music.
