Very pleased and impressed by the amount of skill and knowledge Maverick Whatley brought to the table last weekend when he house sat for me. I have 3 dogs, 2 cats, a snake and a tortoise. The dogs can be a bit of a handful at times, and tend to be mistrusting, especially with men, but they almost immediately liked maverick, which was a great relief because the dogs are always my main concern when it comes to finding a pet sitter that’s actually willing to stick around. The cats loved him, the tortoise didn’t pee on him which is another good sign, but I fully didn’t expect my snake to enjoy his company. I actually told him to just feed her once and not to bother again because she’s aggressive, and I haven’t been able to hold her in quite sometime without getting bit. When I arrived home, maverick greeted me with my snake sitting on his shoulders. I was quite impressed with his bravery and asked him how he managed to hold her without getting bit, and he gave me a whole rundown on the things he did to make her more docile. Now I’ve been able to handle my snake without the fear of getting bit in the first time in over a year. I %100 recommend this bright young man if you’re looking for a good pet sitter. I have two cats, a dog, and a macaw. Maverick was on time, professional, and performed duties as requested. He bonded well and quickly with all the pets, which is especially rare for the macaw! We were very pleased with his service and professionalism and will use him in the future-it’s very apparent that he’s an animal lover of all types!
