- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Phoenix Home Remodeling (legal entity CMC Group Ventures, Inc.) is a design-build kitchen and bathroom remodeling company based in Chandler, Arizona, licensed under Arizona ROC #313636 as a B-3 General Remodeling and Repair Contractor. We work from planned pricing tied to a defined scope. You get a fixed price before work starts, not an estimate that drifts. Our proof is our numbers. We run a 2.1% change order rate (the industry runs 20 to 32%). That means the price we quote is almost always the price you pay. If scope does change, we document it and price it before we proceed, never after. Kitchen and bathroom remodels vary by size, materials, and structural work. We charge a planning and design fee up front. That fee covers the layout, material selections, and the detailed written proposal you keep whether or not you build with us. Every project includes a 2-year workmanship guarantee at no additional cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We follow a design-build process. One team handles design and construction, so you are not managing a separate designer, general contractor, and subs who all point fingers at each other. Step one is a short phone call to understand your project, your space, and your timeline. If it is a fit, we schedule an in-home visit. Step two is the in-home visit. We measure, look at the space, talk through what you want, and discuss realistic budget ranges for that scope. No guessing over the phone. Step three is the design agreement and design phase. We build your layout, help you select materials and finishes, and deliver a detailed proposal with defined scope and planned pricing. Step four is construction. You get a dedicated point of contact, a project schedule, and clear updates as the work moves. We pull the required permits and handle inspections. Step five is the final walkthrough and your 2-year workmanship guarantee. We do not disappear after the final payment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Phoenix Home Remodeling operates under Arizona ROC License #313636, classified as a B-3 General Remodeling and Repair Contractor, active since May 2017. That license requires documented experience, a trade exam, and a statutory business and law exam through the Arizona Registrar of Contractors. We are licensed, bonded, and insured in Arizona. The deeper training is volume. We have completed over 1,000 kitchen and bathroom remodels across the Phoenix Valley. Real skill in this trade comes from repetition, from hundreds of shower builds, cabinet installs, tile layouts, and plumbing and electrical rough-ins across many home types and build eras. That is where judgment comes from, and judgment is what keeps a project on scope and on budget. Our team stays current on Arizona building code, product systems, and installation methods for the materials we install most.
