- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Mine is not complicated at all. I start with a base price of $40.00 per service call. If the issue is more complicated than a typical call then I adjust it up to a fair price for the job. If the issue is described as what I believe is a simple fix I tend to drop my price as well. Location of the call also impacts my price slightly. However this will be shown in my quote and my quotes are almost always what I plan on receiving for my service.

- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved to work with my hands and be challenged. But it is nice to work on the simple fix now and then. I have been working with computers for over 30 years and have expeience many thing very few people ever will when it comes to computers.
