Deanna is great. There is nothing cookie-cutter in her approach - it’s all about you and where you’re at. She’s fun and upbeat but also takes your progress seriously. I have many years of workout experience (including with trainers) and my wife virtually none, and Deanna is challenging each of us. Easily the most personalized training experience I’ve encountered. Reliability is often a concern with personal trainers, but not with Deanna. We have early morning workouts and she’s never late and shows up full of energy and ready to get going. I have had a lot of personal trainers in the past, and Deanna has been one of my favorites! She understands the female body and all the changes it goes through. Her workouts were exactly what I needed postpartum, and she was very aware of the areas that needed to be strengthened. Deanna doesn't just give a great workout, but she also finds the small tweaks that need to be made in my form that makes a huge difference. Deanna is energetic and explains/demonstrates my workouts well. When I asked questions about why my body does certain things or about my diet, she was very knowledgable and explained things very clearly. Deanna is awesome at tailoring her workouts to meet your needs. I train alongside my husband and our needs are very different. She makes sure that we're each working on the areas that need the most attention. She's also great at changing course if an exercise she picked is not within my capability (YET!). I'm learning how to do everything from scratch and she helps me to remember my form so that the exercises are actually doing what they're supposed to do. I can definitely feel the difference at the time and the next day. I'm finding muscles I didn't know I had! She's also punctual, which is saying something since we work out at 6 a.m. And, she's a real person, not just a cheerleader. She can relate to my challenges -- even though she's very fit -- and shares examples from her own life. Deanna has brought new meaning and focus to body sculpting and muscle strengthening using step by step routines tailored to my body type and abilities. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Pricing varies on the services requested. They can vary from online training through my mobile app...which is a very user friendly app with many features, in-person training and blended programs using online and in-person training. There are also semi-private training options.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I will do an assessment to determine your level of fitness, strengths and weaknesses and build a program off what I find. There is a simple physical assessment, a questionnaire to learn likes, dislikes and medical conditions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am NASM certified and continue to educate myself through other NASM programs like their Weight Loss Specialist program.
