I was on my search for a personal trainer about two months ago to get in shape for an upcoming dance audition. Even though this was my first personal trainer, I could not have picked a better guy! Doug is incredibly hands on and motivating. Each workout that he creates for you is based on your own personal fitness level, goals, and ability. He really works up your strength and stamina by incorporating so many different workouts. I actually look forward to every workout now! Even when the workouts get really hard, Doug is RIGHT there pushing me and make sure I'm doing everything correctly. Not only did I reach my two month goal with him, he encouraged and motivated me to keep going and keep pushing, so now I'm in the best shape I've ever been in my life! Another great thing about this trainer is how hands on his is with meal plans and dieting. He always made sure I was eating properly, gave me weekly tips and recipes, and most importantly was support when my diet got stricter. Hands down, BEST trainer! There is NO WAY I could have accomplished my goal without him!!

Doug is personable and knowledgable. He works you hard, and is able to work around former injuries. I highly recommend Doug to help with your fitness goals. In just a few weeks I'm noticing differences in my body shape and overall health. Thanks, Doug!

Doug is an excellent personal trainer and very personable! I trained with him 2-3 times a week and on Saturday mornings at the bootcamp class. He worked with my schedule to fit sessions in. He also gave me different options to work with my diet and researched options since I am a vegetarian. He also gave me exercises and tips that I could do at home or while at the gym by myself. Doug would check in with me on off days and pushed me hard to get ready for my wedding!

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    In my early 30's I had spinal fusion performed and started going to the gym to make myself stronger, and just to get in better shape. After many years of gym experience I started working with friends and family to help them become healthier. I found myself loving the feeling of helping someone make a difference in their health. So I became a Certified Trainer and now I get to help people on a daily basis.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    At BodyDex Fitness we help an array of clients. Some just wanting to lose a few extra pounds to those wanting to lose alot of weight. We also perform strength and conditioning training for those clients who are looking to tone up, or bulk up. We also can help with nutritional needs and teach our clients how to eat their way to a healthier lifestyle.
