- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is customized based on the level of bookkeeping support needed. Factors include the number of bank and credit card accounts, transaction volume, months needing cleanup, reporting needs, and overall complexity. Monthly bookkeeping packages start at $300/month. Cleanup or catch-up bookkeeping is quoted separately after reviewing the scope of work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with an initial consultation by phone, video call, or in person to understand the customer’s bookkeeping needs, current records, accounting software, and goals. After that, I review the books or available information to determine the scope of work. Once I understand what needs to be done, I provide a proposal with pricing and the services included. If the customer agrees, I send an engagement agreement to be signed by both parties, along with ACH or credit card authorization for the approved fees and any ongoing monthly bookkeeping services. After onboarding is complete, I begin organizing the books, reconciling accounts, and providing financial reports based on the agreed scope of work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, Major in Accounting. I am also a Certified Intuit Bookkeeper and a QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor Level 2. I have hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online, bank reconciliations, cleanup/catch-up bookkeeping, transaction categorization, financial reports, and helping small business owners maintain accurate and organized books.
