- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer two types of pricing for my customers, I have an hourly rate and what most of my customers seem to prefer is when I offer them a single price that includes the entire job from start to finish regardless of length of time to complete. Customers like knowing what the project is going to cost them before it's even started. No surprises or misunderstandings.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Start with a discussion about what they need done and make sure it’s a task I am able to complete as they are wanting it done. I then plan out how I am going to preform the repair so they know I understand what they want and the finished job meets their expectations. Lastly we go over my estimate and both of us agree on and negotiate what the final cost will be. Communication is how a positive relationship is formed and is how mistakes and misunderstandings are avoided.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Was trained in the Air Force to work on electrical systems on airplanes, which gave me a great foundation on how to troubleshoot and work with tools and how to read electrical schematics. That training was a great start to acquiring the skills that I have been building on every since
