I would like to highly recommend Gail Norris as a music teacher for children as well as adults. Gail Norris is a gifted piano and theory teacher. Gail Norris is absolutely passionate about music. Her love for the art is evident in her enthusiastic teaching techniques. She is exceedingly patient with all of her students, and she encourages and mentors them every step of the way to achieve their piano goal and levels of achievement. I was one of Gailâs student who went on to become a piano & theory teacher, and I have successfully been able to teach under her continued mentoring and advice for the past three plus years students ranging from ages 5 to 55. None of this would have been possible without the skills and theory techniques I was taught while taking piano lessons from Gail Norris. It is my great pleasure to recommend Gail Norris to you as a music teacher, and I am tremendously grateful to her for teaching me the joy of learning how to play the piano.

Gail Norris taught my two boys piano when they were in first grade. She did an excellent job; she was encouraging and patient with them as they were so young. They took lessons until they were in sixth or seventh grade. My eldest boy, who is now 22, still enjoys playing it relaxes him. My youngest boy, who is 20, will sit at the piano occasionally; reading music and sitting still were never really his forte. Still Mrs. Norris was patient with him and his abilities grew. Once in elementary school he played in front of the whole school and it gave him such joy! If you are considering piano lessons for your child I whole-heartedly recommend Mrs. Norris, so happy to have found her and to have had her in my childrens lives, it helped shape them as they are today and I think it helped them in school too! Sonya, Thank you very much for your excellent review.Your two rambunctious boys, now two fine gentlemen, provided me with many musical, fun-filled hours. While I taught them to play piano; they taught me about the differences between siblings and how each can give joy to a childless woman. They exhibited grace and poise during performances, always on time with all their books. Although one may have been more prepared than the other, both gave their best to the process. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing: Monthly charge of $90.00 or $23.00 hourly. By paying monthly, the student is provided one free lesson in a three month time period. Two lessons each month $45.00.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I belong to the Tampa Music Teachers Association (TMTA), Florida State Music Teachers Association (FMTA) and National Music Teachers Association (NMTA), attend educational meetings on the state and local levels.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Music has been important to me all my life and I chose to study and teach it because of that interest.
