I am a owner builder adding 3100 sq ft to my existing home. I searched for a contractor to help, I found one after interviewing 10. After the contrator help me frame the house, I was doing the rest on my own. When you build a house, there is a lot involved, as I went farther, it was more and more a drain on me, so I had to find a plumber to do all the rough in plumbing, I needed someone that was honest, showed up,knew plumbing inside and out and would work with me, but would make sure everything passed inspection. Shannon with Horsman Plumbing met all my requirements and more. I would recommend Horseman Plumbing to anyone.

We are very pleased to have Shannon come to our house. He is pleasant and tells you all you need to know. He will fill you in with all your choices, cost, and is really good at getting your problems settled. He gives you the feeling that he really cares and he does. He's a reliable and caring person.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was born into it, I am the 5th generation plumber and working on the 6th with my boys. I followed in my father's footsteps by being not only a plumber, but being union trained and a long time member.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

My toughest and most rewarding job was in Washington State. It was Great Wolf Lodge, a 400 room medium rise(8 story) hotel, Convention Center, and 50,000 sq ft water park with 9 restaurants, all under one roof and was completed start to finish in just 15 months. I was the General Foreman, having 5 Foreman and up to 40 other Journeyman and Apprentices directly under me. I did a lot of designing, and detailing of the many different systems for the project among several other duties. The mechanical contract was $16 million, which was completed on time and under budget.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be sure they have a AZ. State Roc#, not just a city license, insured, bonded and experienced in whatever issue they have.
