I've been doing photography for over 6 years, and specialize in portraits of all kinds. I used to be a teacher and do a lot of work in preschools now, so I do really well with families with young children. I am able to put people at ease, from unwilling dads during family shoots, to CEOs who HAVE to get a headshot but hate having their picture taken; I like making working with me a fun experience, and not something to dread! I have also spent the last two years focusing on studio lighting so I am now offering newborn studio sessions with a wide array of props and clothing.

Amanda shot a 30 minute mini session for our family and was truly amazing! I was worried that with only 30 minutes that we wouldn't get many great pictures but we ended up with so many that I fell in love with! She was very personable and great with getting our 8 month old daughter to smile! She sent us the proofs to our session within a few hours and even edited a few for a sneak peak which was a wonderful surprise! We will definitely be using Amanda for family pictures again!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm always browsing photoshop tutorials on youtube and adobe. I also am a member of several discussion boards and follow tips and tricks from really great artists.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
It was a hobby that turned into a side job. Hoping for it to take off and be my main job!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Portraits, especially senior pictures or small family pictures.
